Devlog #3

Jaden Torres
For the last month of the project, we collectively decided to downscale the project in order to still meet our design goals without having too much work in the Art and Programming sides of the project. For this downscaling, I created a new branch for the project on Github and restructured our entire file system and optimized our file size. I also looked into web build compiling and uploading to test if our project will work properly on Itch. My goals for the last month was to commission music, finish up the UI, implement the music, and assist the programmer in the engine as much as I could. I re-created all the game scenes using Brandon's art and Alan's work.

As the programmer for this game the last few weeks were spent mostly on final touches. I had wrote many scripts such as scene transitions and an enemy ai chase ai. However when importing the new branch from github it overwrote almost all of my work and a lot of the stuff that I had was lost. From that point onward I would try hard to work on trying to get my work back. At the same time the new branch would not work at all on my mac and I was unable to work further on my own. I would send stuff to my group mates to implement it for me because I was left unable to edit the project myself. Despite a lot of my stuff getting lost whatever work I could get in was in for the final product.
